Sylvan April 14, 2021Part of our commitment to the environment is to do whatever we can to prevent its deterioration. So, what better place to start than with our hometown? We live in Amsterdam, where we joined Plastic Whale to help them with their mission: collect, create, educate.
Plastic Whale is a social enterprise that collects plastic from Amsterdam´s canals and recycles it into sustainable office furniture and boats. The Whale also offers an educational program for the youngest with the aim of teaching them about the importance of the environment and what other uses can be given to plastic.
So…we picked a date, jumped on a boat, and took a tour through the city´s canals to go fishing for plastic. The impact something so simple can have in the near future is a huge reward for us and our essence is what drives us to keep doing this kind of thing.
